I’ve been coaching CrossFit for nearly 4 years now, just about as long as I’ve been an athlete of the sport and I haven’t looked back since. I knew I wanted to be a coach after only a few months of taking regular classes. CrossFit plays a major role in my life and I love every aspect of it.
I am 24 years old from East Islip, NY. From a very young age, I started playing Baseball but had to limit my activity due to some injuries in High School. I also played Hockey most of my childhood and still do for fun with my same childhood friends. When I was introduced to CrossFit I instantly fell in love with the sport. Outside of coaching I work full time as a Service Coordinator for Rallye Motor Group.
My favorite part of coaching our members is watching them achieve a goal or movement that they never thought they could be able to do in their life. My goal is to create an experience that people haven’t had before, and make them motivated enough to push themselves to their limits. The motivation for me as a coach, is seeing someone who comes in 4-5 times a week, every week, and gives it their all for that hour. Then seeing them slowly improve every week and to have them notice that for themselves. The best feeling is helping someone achieve a goal that they set for themselves. Either getting there first pull-up, losing a few pounds, or just having them enjoy working out with the people around them. I coach to help people push themselves and be the best version of themselves.
